Simply Discount Furniture provides a one (1) year limited warranty for most of its furniture, which covers manufacturer defects in craftsmanship and materials. This warranty is valid to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
The limited warranty lasts one year from date of receipt, (warranty does include freight or delivery charges, minimum $129.00),
Additional protection is available under the Guardian Protection extended warranty. Guardian Protection extended warranty provides extended warranty for the following:
Fabric, Leather, and Vinyl Furniture
- Stains caused by any food or beverage commonly consumed by humans
- Stains caused by human or pet bodily fluids
- Stains caused by grass grease, ballpoint pen ink iodine, nail polish, cosmetics, lipstick, crayon, and shoe polish
- Rips, cuts, punctures, or burns from a specific incident.
- Breakage of frames, springs, and sleeper will be covered if a manufacturer’s warranty originally covered them and such warranty has expired.
Wood and Hard Surface Furniture
- Stains caused by any food or beverage commonly consumed by humans
- Breakage of wood or other hard surface from a specific incident
- Gouge, heat mark, or liquid ring from a specific incident
- Breakage of glass or mirror components, any chip or scratch of glass or mirrors, and loss of silvering on mirrors (except crowned or curved glass)
- Checking, cracking, bubbling, or peeling of finish from a specific incident
- Stains from nail polish.
- Accidental damage and normal wear and tear from in-home use.
- Damage occurring during or arising from delivery.
- Damage resulting from neglect or abuse. Living Spaces will assess the product for neglect or abuse and decide at its discretion.
- Furniture used for commercial or institutional purposes, including but not limited to home daycare, business and rental purposes, and property staging.
- Mattresses, mattress foundations, adjustable bases, mattress protectors, and other mattress accessories.
- Accessories or clearance and floor model furniture sold “as-is”. There is no exchange, refund, return, or service for “as-is” items.
Items that are not covered or that may void the Manufacturer Warranty include:
- Customer modifications.
- Fabric damage due to fabric protection application.
- Colorfastness or dye lot variations of fabrics.
- Damage caused by neglect, abuse, misuse, improper storage, or accidents.
- Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning, or care, including but not limited to pet hair, mold, bug infestation, and water damage.
- Non-residential use.
- Use for which the product was not designed or intended.
- Settling of cushions due to normal wear and tear.
- Piling and wrinkling due to normal wear and tear.
- Fabric fading or discoloration is due to exposure to elements, including but not limited to sunlight.
- Water damage to electrical components.
- Natural wood grain characteristics.
